I'm a little I'm curious how this next conversations gonna go there's a chance I might get more fired up the new which by the way. I just got to throw this out their proud moment as a cohosts really proud moment physical CU did so jacked up for this now that we can like match levels of intensity anger like anger intensity during this segment. Well I try to do is anybody's little jealous are we won't get mad at him for that's OK and no drops no drives going on right now Jonas since a baseball stuff Strauss. I can now turn my mind's gone right now fellows I don't even know what's going on Jewish you get like a weather report the elderly are fine just don't Fisher Al knows some of the raining here. I'll go to my eyes tsunami Joseph Fisher how's the weather out there I'm. Well brand name of high winds and I think there's a sixty foot wave about to take me hours though. All right we'll get it until Fisher make sure he's OK we'll check back get a little more of the tsunami over there. A little later on thank you Joseph Fisher for hang in through it. But no I did a baseball dropped baseball stuff dry across. The MLB hall of fame was announced. That was my friend but it was the class of 2016. What Tony 172070. And it is Jeff Bagwell. It is Tim Raines. Is Eva on pudge Rodriguez. Moved moved and I wanna give Patrick cares a lot of credit for this today baseball show yesterday. This might be the least exciting hall of fame plus I've ever seen in my life my life yeah you can name one from way before I was born but yeah for me this is about as least exciting easy get. This was a boy and ironically too is usually baseball does not put in three guys that just doesn't happen very often. Even though it's happened like three last four years but really you go back only like 1955. Very Hurley. Do you three guys get in and that's what makes it's a funny is even three guys that. That I believe her hall of fame baseball players I would vote for all of them you Viennese three air hall of fame do I I I don't have as stricter regulations as some people do I think a lot of baseball writers look at this is you have to be one of the greatest of all time to get Andrew. And I don't necessarily have that same view jet just babble is a great baseball player had almost fifty home runs played for the same organization for fit our 500 home runs to tease me. Same organization for fifteen years at a whole fame career for me a pudge Rodriguez is one of the best catchers of all time. Steroids or no steroids same thing when Jeff Bagwell. He is an all these hall of Famer in my book. And Tim Raines is somebody that I supported for him fully years and he was kind of the the legacy vote in because this was the last chance for him to get in the hall of fame and that's what finally put him over the top look I like I am admittedly have a problem with. Two in this two with a three in the the last one of their own prom I would have in knots with the rains. I mean this guy had no votes for like the first few years she literally it would nobody was voting form he was it like 20% he was like 15%. And then the last two years because it's the end of his voting cycles Sonny knows shoots the way up lake that's way to save the Bagwell is exact same thing broke early on when you look at back doubles hall of fame numbers. They obviously weren't low enough to get him dropped off the ballot. But he had a lot of steroid speculation around him he didn't get a ton of support and then after two or 33 irons and is slowly starts to build up to the point regrets innocent look pudge to me if you're gonna say hall of fame. Pledged to me might be for meat. The most hall of fame is one of the best defensive catchers of all Raines I get the argument he was an incredible base stealer. An overall player but pudge was I mean him and yachts investigating catchers we've ever seen and we does he does Johnny Johnny Bench. Johnny Bench Johnny Bench yet Johnny Bench but still he had he had that ability they'll write like you were naming catchers to do that'd be bench PR assured him for sure so for me it's maybe him but him and that will play during the steroid era. I mean come like why do you apply to college you in in 2000 in one or 2000 if I honestly told you. A dirt guess what. I Jeff Bagwell he's gonna get the hall of fame before Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens I'd love affection. Everybody would be laughing at me let you know he's back Willis said yesterday now to the best player my generation nine close Barry Bonds yeah. And he got all ten and that's kind of my problem is not necessarily Jeff Bagwell is gonna be in the hall of fame it's just like. We're willing to overlook certain players from that air and because we didn't like individuals that. Barry bond using any getting now he did go up substantially percentage I think he's beginning next year if not the year after that. But come on man it's so weird to me that we can watch a guy like that play. And at the end of his career we go yet Jeff Bagwell substantially. Less stats and he's gonna get him before yet this has been the biggest issue that I have about based on the steroid era from start to finish that it if you wanna be a space don's traditionalist and say eat that nobody. From the steroid era that you had an inkling use the drug should be in the hall of fame. I'm OK with that. And that that's your stance on not what because I you I just you know great players when you see I know I tires I I disagree with the stance by I appreciate you having me get off my lawn on a one anybody associated with the drug begin and this is why have the problem in this is now what three years in a row now. Where guys that that people have raised concerns and raised questions about steroid use during their career. Have been allowed in the hall of fame you know Wilson also I am now Bud Selig the commissioner would turn a blind eye and let it happen. Didn't even say steroids were illegal they Neiman test forum. And tell his sport blew up in the ratings were back and then all of a sudden his chickens came back to roost. He's an all famous well it and that's always been my biggest issue in line such a staunch Barry Bonds supporter and same thing with Roger Clemens. Is that there are we are black balling a small list of players for steroid use because they were the best Wear black balling Barry Bonds. Because he was the best and the steroid era or black balling Roger Clemens because he was throwing led a sub two ERA up there. When he was 46 years old and an Astros uniform of course steroids help them but. This to allow other guys that yachts and who had been rumors about a pudge numbers out any. Bagwell had rumors about in his entire career Frank Thomas some people don't think he did but I'll listen to arguments that he did. We we don't know whether or not they took steroids now and tested positive and then that's the problem with that era. Is your just never got to know which is why if you're worthy you should get and well and I just I'm gonna do this is. A soapbox moment for me I think we all have players that we love they were our favorite players and eat you say hall of fame in my book. I'm just gonna say 11 last time for me and Jeff Bagwell kind of brought me to this. My boyfriend McGriff the crime dog the they instructional videos everybody always had. I kind of looked at Fred McGriff and Jeff Bagwell did the same player to me. And Fred McGriff rarely gets votes he barely gets he set like I think he's dropped to two point 12 when he present. And that's dropping from life. 35. He's winning percentage bass hang on by a thread and I ran the numbers by the way for people laughing at that notion of Frederick rivers back with Bagwell easily let you I don't love you I love you going on a friend and her friend well a year on this day look I don't I don't regret I love Florida this segment every year it's like I thought my bonds and Clemens saying and then sprayed a pipe in with Fred McGriff stats and I agree with Jimenez held the ball well I admittedly I have a bias because he's my favorite player of all time but Bagwell to meet its not different look at these numbers Bagwell for 49 home runs McGrath for 93. RBIs jet bad blood 15129. Fred McGriff had 15150. Batting average to 97 for Bagwell to 84 for the crime dog eaten for a weight on base percentage for Bagwell 377 for the crime dog. 540 for Bagwell slugging percentage 509 for McGriff. They are both three time silver slugger award winners. Bagwell had won gold glove any did win the MVP in 94 so I can't despite a dispute that. But when grips numbers were substantially better in the post season. It's it's the same ticket that was a clear cut all Famer in front immigrants like not even a thought for Pete right. And it's the same argument a lot of folks who make frank Martinez that they look at his numbers they compare them across the board to a number other players. That are in the hall of fame and they wonder wired to Martinez does against the same blood and it looks silly Texan and I think this is a whole another segment in his own right. There is they're black balling them because they don't like them people like legend Bagwell nobody likes bonds or Roger. That should have nothing to do with it personalities political opinions beliefs. Have nothing to do with what you accomplish inside the lines on a baseball let's talk about that because as another player that we haven't brought up that is probably being black ball because of personality and belief and also. Good news for Edgar Martinez looks like a hall of fame might becoming rapidly soon we'll talk more hall of fame next on the fan. This is third in skirt and John Genovese. And I do appreciate you you mean he had real soap box from a boy Fred McGriff and by that we once that in point out. Because their numbers are so similar and in some regard to price immigrants are more impressive with the and now I saw that statement today both. Well yes substantially more homers here played longer he has more of substantially more home runs he's got almost fifty more yeah avenue not a lot of it Steve seasons for most players and not a bad policy related out his prime now Leno that's one year that's one Roydell Bagwell season I do wanna point out one last thing and I'll move on. They both. Had eight seasons of a hundred plus RBIs cracked as so I learn until many RBIs department in terms of you know what is the is the crime dog man I know somebody did ask you to drop the crime dog argument revealing the gap. To me is that it's called a hall of fame not the hall of nice guys or people we like there's not one drug out there that helps you put a bat on a ball drowning 97 miles per hour. But the bottom falling out of it c'mon here is get over your selves but demand PS dropped the crime dog argument I don't know how Bagwell like. Asked as is me this is a meeting I just don't get how Bagwell for people is like substantially better than Fred McGriff. A little past that you guys know NA IPI a million mobile buys into the numbers make no sense to me illustrator distillate listening audience and honest you know ease you sent me a couple days when you obviously know because you sent it to me. The you said the other day. You can't wait for baseball season and I I can't enemy really proud console when you're stuck in a foot of snow you start thinking of spring right sunshine and golf aren't all the ninety degree day on my car keys and send out their he's in his Nassau have drinking a beer on the patio hope springs eternal my artwork I can't wait for all edit I am. But let's continue document this hall of famous Tim Raines Bagwell and pudge did in. Punch at a cool video when he found out I think it was his is maybe agent brother came or game you would really happy ecstatic. As I'm sure the other guys were as well but some good news. For old Edgar Martinez he went up pretty high in the percentage points 58% any 75 to get in Hoffman missed it by 1%. Damn that sucks yeah but Edgar went up pretty well it's the point where a lot of people believe he'll get in in the next two to three years potentially yeah which is it's a great. Sinai and I've always thought Edgar Martinez should be in the hall of fame I don't understand David Ortiz is getting getting help ought to be a first ballot guy he and I don't understand why all of a sudden the stereotype begins DH is will go away with David Ortiz championship rings I know I that's in the meantime it and you can't just simply count championship rings it's a part of it sure if you wanna count that but Edgar Martinez also had some big moments in the playoffs. He just wasn't with an organization at the right time like the Boston Red Sox both of rumor clutch hitters. And so yes he deserves to be in and I think it's a great sign. And for those out there that agree with me that both guys like Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens belong in that was another positive sign I would be shocked if it happens next season. They're both at the high fifty market wage should move in our mid to high fifties they should say in terms of percentage so they both went up about ten but. They still got about another 20% to go to step in the right direction for them and I think it's also a sign. That starting next year I believe these ballots will be made public and you can go look at who people are voting for and for a long time these votes have been done behind closed doors. Some people made a public some didn't some got ticked off that media members made their votes public but that is consuming that's gonna start next year. And I think it's great because you you can't hold a grudge or you can't simply vote for some random guy like. I looked at some of the votes people got like Jorge Posada for example c'mon man that's not often I could vote for Jorge Posada to be in the hall of fame when you have some of these other names. There on the ballot he's fallen off the ballot but he did he didn't get enough for the volt but it was the same thing last year is that Griffey vote. Somebody didn't vote for Griffey and I knew he's going to be inside and pull for when the votes of B and probably next year necessary next year the Republicans like well Wladimir is getting get in he was. I think he's already earlier Guerrero is one of the fun it. My finest players to ever watched play baseball I think everybody can agree with that and Trevor Hoffman belongs in the hall of fame millions and he was 1% shorts that's a tough front for him but he'll get an. Here yet the other ones too we mentioned Clemens we mention in bonds. Curt Schilling's another name and he's lumped in kind and in the not the steroid. Allegations but the steroid air and and when he played. And borderline hall favors some people what the numbers. But now there's this kind of feel that maybe he's dropping in percentages because he dropped this year if she her dead based on his personality his tweets his political beliefs. His agree just comment said he made time and time again he said some bad things and a lot of people are wondering as he dropping because of that and despite. Clear cut definition in rules that is not supposed to take into account now you're supposed to judge these guys and vote on him based on their on field performance yes it. There's no doubt in my mind that Curt Schilling dropped him voting because of the stuff he said and done off the field which I I am tend to think he's a big get. I'd tend to think he's back as crazy no doubt when it comes a lot of things and that was even proven yesterday that on hall of fame announcement day he was roped into a Twitter beef with fake Cindy Pontes on. Yeah that happened yesterday was going back and forth with a fake Twitter account and I each of these is a weird dude. But that should have no bearing on his career is as a pitcher naive if you wanna debate. What he did on the mound. I think people can often forget how difficult it is for some pitchers to get in for example. The only pitchers to get into the hall of fame since 2008 get this list these are the pictures to go and since 2008 to basically last ten years Randy Johnson. Pedro Martinez John Smoltz Tom Glavine Greg Maddux. In Bert Blyleven. That's at those are the only pitchers are going in the last nine years. And they all have better numbers than Curt Schilling I was great post season pitcher remember a minute Diamondbacks uniform remember him with a bloody sock like. He has those kind of moments so if you wanna debate. The merits of him on the mound that's one of the things I'll listen to but if you're holding his. Coo coo opinions against him in terms of voting that's misguided. Do you think it should don't know you cannot hold that stuff against somebody let me give you and this is an OJ Simpson he didn't. Damn good football player had a hell of a career. And rape 120 women well hold onto his playing career some people consider him a borderline if not hall of fame player. And he came out and basically said I have to vote based on their. On the field production now that's different and got completely destroyed that's different now different when you go to opinions are different than actions. If he was out there like it you know I don't know being a racist and killing Ty Cobb murdered somebody. Different time and Dara II guys -- modest diet I'd get your take him out a redneck I murdered somebody when I play your point that happen in like 1940 alright with that also incredibly races we've came a bit aways is this aside there are a lot of folks it and one black people playing baseball that are on the hall of fame as well actions are different from words there's no doubt I I'd hate Curt Schilling I can't stand again. But you cannot hold his opinions against him when it comes to hold him I just find it really inching where you draw the line and how they draw the line. I'm kind of one of those people that. I like the way it's set up now what was your on the field production. They're gonna put on your plaque you know Curt Schilling ball why did this and that achieved this achieved that. And a lot of people are gonna tell their kids this guy was incredibly insane half but he was a DM good baseball players are good pitcher man I he had 200 in thirteen career wins held a prayer but you're also asking people in this is what I find ironic is for all the people that questioned the media voters. You're also asking people to take human element out and it's tough to do that it just is it is because starting your bias out of it for us because even though you were saying he's bat S crazy. But they held a ballplayer and that's how we should be views a ball player. You still. Find what he is set up so offensive it's hard to get that idea had let dale and don't get me wrong what he said is is egregious it's ridiculous and I and I even would disagree completely with their reason is somebody Texan there's no difference there's a difference between having an opinion. What would no matter how old. Outlandish that opinion may be and I and I and said before writing curt Schilling's a bigger there's a difference being that rape being how many women did Darren Sharper rate. He's in prison for how long I don't know how many ended up how long is he gonna be in prison I think it's like 25 years or some you wanna tell me there's no difference between the two. I'm not condone any anything Curt Schilling is said or done that guy's not in prison for 25 years if he was then I would agree completely. You can take into account and I think he's done off the feet I think the point that people would make if they say if there if anybody was saying that there's no difference I think their point would basically be. If we're judging these guys solely based on their mayor as a player. Can you really pick and choose when you choose to look off the field. Is that okay. I think that's kind of the point if people were to go into what you're saying -- that's their that's what the point we aid if you winnable for Darren Sharper go for you fix face a backlash won't though but I I'd be honest with you there's an element of mean look I I'm never gonna have a vote because I'm not a writer like every writer gets a free can vote it's ridiculous yet as. I'll never have a vote but I'm on win straight I let it be hard for me with some people. If you were incredibly crazy insane just outlandish. Offensive. It's hard for me to separate that some time we'll look I got it Kirch is on for small tremor from me in the first place he's a guy that I think has to be on the ballot for 67 years because as I mention all those names that have got in over the last eight years. They're all better pitchers and then they all had better numbers than him and I don't think he's in that same conversation as a Randy Johnson smoltz or Glavine. And that makes me go back and look at those guys' careers were neighbor remark Pedro Martinez dominated for how many years. So those guys I mean they they were at the peak in their other's respective positions for long times are showing great pitcher. Not quite an us in congress are finally somebody takes and forgive me for not knowing what did Schilling say well it's always has and what hasn't yet he said at this point new deal foam on Twitter than okay. But he's been on political talk shows he was on fox awhile ago. He is on fox and I can't remember what the exact topic was but it was a ballots. Young children and basically something it happened to the point where Curt Schilling responded to the host. You mean to tell me that you've never had one a year kids' friends come over and you look at him and go man their are gonna be really hot when they're older yet he had one as. And the hosts on fox was basically. Why two. She was like no that's never been there and he was like are you kidding me nick you've never been there like everybody's been their before. Now does that does is a sample that says it's okay and of what he said the other thing we had to look forward to as well. You know gets in next year my boy your boy Chipper Jones chipper in the next is Andruw Jones on Colorado Javier Lopez okay. And we've got the whole race class and maybe he maybe David Justice easy with the big cat man highlighted the big cat loves the big cattle I don't know of the big cat under is Galarraga is quite DF what about our Jones not a first ballot I know is not a first dolphins the hall of Famer now. Terrible batting average. Probably not man he wasn't very getting a hell of a defender could hit home runs ST god damn he swung and missed a lot. We've got a lot to get to the rest of the half hour of this of this stuff on the MLB hall of fame it does get me fired up it it it really is the only hall thing that matters. It is an and it's the worst voting system do that's what makes it so frustrated backwards but it's a little we care the most about so archaic but mainly get fired a very higher primetime -- this yesterday and I just laughed because so Richards Likud doesn't get in a basketball fan. Yeah this is not even the NBA hall of fame make you could be a high school basketball coach and win our games you get into the basketball yeah they had people I've never heard of give him about small thing to socialists out there daylight Mittal costly something hop like Bob Smith and then next up Allen Iverson. OK and by the way are we doing this I think we're doing it halo car basketball analyst for ESPN's Seth Greenburg would join the show next to give his stocks. On the docks and the disappointing season with a Rome are in Seattle what I was going on. In court Rouse who talked to Seth Greenberg next but first. Us. With a sports update. This is durden spray gun 1080. The Australian. I won't back endurance Craig for Thursday's her goal while you can follow us on Twitter act certain strength. Coming up here in fifteen minutes from now talk a little NFL action but are really excited for our next guest Seth Greenberg one of our favorite guys. The jab hoops with access on hoops is an ESPN college hoops analyst he joined as an ego mortgage. Mobile hot line set thanks as always from the time we always appreciate it's let's get right into the organ docs they've got an interesting season so far this year a couple of early losses. But absolutely rolling sends them what's kind of the biggest difference you've seen from them from early on when they stumbled to now when they've been on this long winning streak. Well it's always go getting deal brought back expert that he wouldn't you guys have figured that out now I mean. And it hit the balloon that would pop acetylene. But you know lucky he huge difference for this team I think nothing is don't want this. Getting to understand how crucial but wanted to play the ball was getting stock a little bit his chance early in the season. Not getting stopped the same way. I'm developing deeper section mean you know you go from playing seven guys to play in the 89 guys in it takes time to develop that chemistry. He played Pritchard had to play benching you played together you know just trying to figuring your team out. It just because they returned a core group it's still there a different team and a different chemistry different. It takes time to develop that trust but Dana is it that it is like a mad scientist he's so good at it. And there are awfully good right now. How to they stack up in your opinion with last year's one seed in the NCAA tournament. You don't that I think that direct Arab I think they've missed cook a little bit and missed that you know position the first day. But. Looked at got a little bit better despicable versatility in the backcourt. You know that you know they're a year older. If Boucher got to stay healthy helped these and and you know that they can't get. And all I can do early season struggles was good it is that they can't get complacent so badly coached him. You know right up to the bitter end in and a lot of ways so. I think they're similar every team is different is it's it's your team in relation to the field. The field a little bit better this year but I think they're awfully good. Now we're talking with Seth Greenberg ESPN college use analysts you can follow him on Twitter assets on groups in and when you take a look. At the fact those standings at this point I mean pretty clear top three areas on and Oregon both final in conference sixteen into overall. And UCLA they're on a loss in the year was that wild finish in Eugene where they lost on the game winner. From Dylan broke three that you're talking about what do you make another of the top of the pack told the season Arizona UCLA and how they compare with organ. While I don't use regulation so that I offensively and they got six starters not five starters and some good they are they do have stepped up front. Balls may indeed be sure we know that now. You know they're great defense team but they're capable. Arizonans want it's it's prize we've solved the armed forces classic second search. But man they're playing well right now are marketed it's been really special. I've really been impressed with growing falcons improvement. And they get trio back now you've got one more score which scuttle what they can use to takes pressure off them. And it belated shedding they've been really good and extra has been practicing so. He held his tradition back with their team will be you know pretty pretty seamless so. He got those three and a new USC is still playing well scored a pretty good. You know which is good and that Italy has legitimate. I think cal would rapid. You know would burden you know they're they're good Pasqua predicted typically has good depth of those stories I've definitely separate themselves. Who are the top two coaches in this conference. Well and that's that's situated it's a very do. Well coached conference and it is today in that day is definitely in the tragic David shock right now. John Miller immunity challenge them terrific job and I love the way he's created a culture in and then it's fantastic that people for will be back conversation. Because it in the matter wished they rebuilt the thing but I didn't charge it really been done just an incredible jobs under siege. Well and I think people just north of us in the state of Washington there's been some rumblings about Lorenzo Romo are no doubt the guy to recruit he's got amazing talent and even next year's class he's got the number one player in high school groups coming to Seattle to play for him. Obviously might have the number one pick him Martell Fultz plane from but there to inform conference not a nine overall. What do you do if you're Washington you're sitting here you have men to a tournament in a while now but he still bringing in talent like that. Yeah I think it opens under you shipped out he should he sit with your coach every time and you say correctly or what what are we need you to get better. And these are our expectations and they've had a conference comes our conversation and and it ended the goals in any expectations are clear what conversation didn't. I you have to go from there emerges a proud guy he's not going to be if he doesn't think he'd get it done you know he'll probably take the decision at a very niche. But he has recruited well they have not been able to stay old they've been very young they play beyond. And momentum when you lose it is hard. To gain but they have lost momentum and are hurting so it's you know video that you conflict depreciation and look what happen would usually a year ago or so. In I don't know relationship with his athletic director I don't know of one of its contract I don't know the bye have that status. I would probably have conversations are what you know why are we where we wore on what you think permission what you know why you were closed but why are why can't we. Went through it. What's the difference between those years you were going to vehicular term and every year. And you know black reported that it is really really good did you yeah yeah perhaps I want dignity he left. Don't be shocked now if Porter would leave let them write and they would just reboot and other institutions. You'd have to ask our country. Art and you know that he's going to be wit you wherever you go. You're pretty you're you're going to be pretty appeal. It strictly just get a chance to watch him. A couple weeks back less rob imitation and old players Seth Greenberg online we love talking with them colleges assets on who's. Onto her I'm curious to ask you this because we debated in a few times on our show because Bill Walton is called a couple or in games recently. Do you see are late game test except. I just curious it regimen when somebody like you who know I mean you you obviously know everything there is no about college that's why you turn on the TV and Bill Walton the color commentator what what runs through your mind. Talk. That's most of that you play whatever you like I don't understand why you didn't I about why we call we are now etched. While that we just let these guys reduces the culprit to chat beat. Every database in the guys who dropped a whopping. For the past welcome in our you know he knows more about. That's the person that's the great. And he's probably by bad luck you know he's incredible I mean but. Yeah I would like arsenic problem and then I got to run credibility literally arsenal what would you like. If he doesn't talk to the sport has partnered up won until game starts. Poke conversation number so he'll walk and then you'll be in your shoot around supposedly New York you know before the game he'll just walk it and you know. Talking to players. That's almost dangerous you know who knows what he's shaking your piece. You just fill in the minds of the stuff visit me. Our bodies great you know. What do we do is good for me tries to wake up much struggle. I did Johnny on the Serena you're against it real quick organ state struggling a lot they Michael winless in conference play they don't have trees tingle obviously but they were just in the tournament a year ago. I think your resume is pretty good because you went from the tournament and then you have scenes where you didn't go. What's the most difficult thing rebounding from a tournament team to the next. Well it's. Replacing Jerry take her at Maine and staying healthy like I was really fortunate have guys I had about a seven year run at Virginia Tech and it. You know we were in the know we tribunal would fare which program in the ACC we get a secure rod where. We know what the one tournament and we were that the fort would probably so. Are you are staying consistent solid we're losing an impact player like Payton and impacted to get so many different ways it's hard when you lose evidently conclusion expressed player. That's a lot to replace. So. And I don't get deterred little crooked people fought and now they've got to be have to have a little but the patience because. They're basically playing with a young team that doesn't have that I'd stick impact guy that you know help it would almost close to it. Now he has Seth Greenberg always enjoyed the conversation assets on who silence that are ESPN college hoops. Analysts thanks as always we know you're against it we appreciate the time out here playing. That I appreciate you having me thank you were much. That was one hell Avaya until then impersonation. That was solid right there I also said he's he's the smartest guy about nothing yeah that's brilliant about nothing but doesn't he know right it is those like random things your version of all current and I was reading out fund fax website the other day and I thought about you go all those all these fun fact it probably does this rally LA bus up on his knowledge he just -- fun facts on there. I do what I can continue the conversation where we ended off and that's with organ state. I don't know if people are paying attention. But there really bad this year there I mean there can't awful and I don't really bad sums it up last year term for the first time since 91 this year may be the worst team in the conference where is the frustration after beaver fans cry Sam is next on 1080 the fan. Pressure is on the us. What's different from. In the past messages execute in crunch time we don't spill in the heat. Momentous events coming all the when you lose it's the lowest on the wall it's. Friendster and I don't look at the hottest topics in sports front right crunches. Is 995 per month. So why would you ever pay more for a gym membership they dredged read you like French tennis always my nanny problem and so why would you ever pay more for gym memberships. They like Matt ran my announced yesterday and how many push ups like India on the air. Yeah my trainer heard and he kicked man what do you say you can do at least 15% of did you fifty pushups how many you. I -- all in total lead and then doing a hundred but that was just a small part of the work out I had to go on to say how hard was 200. Where it was broken up sold like part of it I was like I'm one of those circuit things so it was to try to push ups at a time July struggle a 25 no I actually did it all completely fine I was shocked so I still stand by my claim I can -- fifty but I'm not running my mouth anymore about my exercise well. You miss four wins those four wins have come against prairie viewing NM. University of Texas San Antonio and southern Oregon. And Kent State. Account of the southern Oregon game they did yeah I'm academy 8415 I was finalist those are the four winds afford fourteen their 015 and conference Colorado's worst discuss their own six or not. Technically. And lastly is the commerce and and I this territory and state fans around because last year. Was such a fun run so watch. In terms of a program that hadn't been determined since 1991. You know you and I were getting ready to our show that day in our remember how many beaver fans are at the bar watch him with us and as the game was on kind of right before the show started. It was a so it was a lot of fun to kind of see beaver fans get to experience a lawyer and NCAA tournament run was like again and then to go from that. To Dennis where you know at a dowdy are sure hey your five party don't make it maybe it's in a ninety year a CBI Yani anybody's gonna get frustrated but. They they have basically fallen off a cliff in terms of success lot of reasons why but this click curious where the mentality of or in space fan base as well mesa. Lisa like we did some Nina effect because they were down by telling host when he won two against organs they basically lost that game by forty which is the most they've lost the civil war since I believe 1982. If I'm not mistaken on that yet they they got behind 21 to nothing. They lost by 42 to their main right that was the biggest loss of all time buy down money that they've actually beaten docks by more than that. Well into night nineteen but already some that sunny and had to have been since the eighties so it's just a reference of how bad that was. And I just since semi affect how people feel I didn't mean it ugly against tingle I didn't mean it heating single I was just curious how people really. This registers from because football still on Islam still trying to get back to be able team basketball and baseball was time for die hard beer fan what they have. And basketball going from the tournament today as slick I get traced Hinkle Stevie Thompson was out for awhile. And it's kind of a makeshift but Stevie Thompson has now been back a little bit he's been playing injury you banks those are 24 star kids tracing goes huge to them. Is she a huge difference maker in terms how winning substantially more games I don't know maybe he is and I'm overlooking it. It's point blank this without Gary Payton the second they never make the tournament they don't sniff the tournament and to be honest with you. If they never got Gary Payton to second. I'm wondering how people feel about pointing going year three now I I I love pointing goal I'm in no way calling for anybody's gig there's no way I'd wanna lose wearing two ankle. But they don't over achieved in year one without Gary Payton to second and I can guarantee they don't go to the term without Gary Payton is second in year two. Which we EG now two years three and if you took away the coach's sons as your biggest recruits and then you're left withdrew eubanks. And I. You learn. You'll learn so and again I'm not saying and it's not getting it better mile point is this. I love going to the tournament it was saw some yet to be this bad. I mean I I just I found it a little interesting that they can potentially go winless in conference that's Jay John stuff yeah it as you know even if you're losing retracing goal. You'd still have forced our kids on that roster. Did Jay John have forced our kids on his roster when he went limit winless because even needed more people weren't giving him a pass so. Going to the tournament I think is not a lot of leeway for beaver fan for the most part in being patient and out overreacting. But holy crap dirt there's almost no reason they should be this awful BI did. This is bad Terry's thoughts 55 through five is three time men already got some cumin and Lamar. On the beaver fan at the same about the beavers as I do the blazers disappointed in the season but honestly feel like both teams peaked one year early getting everyone's hopes up now we're being humbled. That's an and Odyssey as we thought would be at this point you don't ask me that last year enjoyed the season for both teams but didn't expect much sustain success also knew. BB never gonna to make a final four and NBA championship so it just is what it is not a one Greenberg edit this spot about Oregon State losing their impact player in Gary Payton. And now were young my frustration as the offense strictly get the ball and create a shot when he should be working hard with and without the ball looking for. An open shot I think the the expectations as it is a good point in terms of the frustration I think that the connection of the blazers is great may be last year organ state did peek a little too early maybe they. Had a couple of games a bounce their way they got into the tournament and it changed your expectations maybe. A sooner than you would of poked in the blazers of the prime example that if teams ahead of them don't get hurt in their I seven seater a six seed in the playoffs last year. And they get bounced in the first round and we. Moussaoui was to be frustrated by the season having no doubt. But we would've come in and you're talking Western Conference finals like our expectations are based on what they did last year also based on their own comments. Also in the difference also is that organs they lost a best player of the blazers didn't lose their best player from last year to this year. Boy and I think that's another thing that some people overlooked it and let the these are still really talented players adapt eubanks has been a monster this year had a good season. Stevie Thompson can lighted up on offense and some nights it feels like he's not making much of a difference. His little brother's going to be coming who's a McDonald's all American and of course traced in goal. They're still real good talent on it. I just. I think we all overlooked how good Gary Payton is sec it was only play admired him even when he was in court was in Corvallis all sides of the floor go look at him now like he's too good for the is dropping routinely like thirty and forty point games and dunking on cats in the but he can't quite catch a break in the NBA he says that no man's land capsule is Susan undersized two guard. I think were we overlooked that and then I also just think it's a case of yeah I was texting was somebody who works in college basket one in a different conference about this and basically what they said was pointing goal is a hell of a coach is Reno pressure on him. But it really boils down to. Aside from the other Thomson kid. Are you really that impressed for the recruiting class in if you are great. But did he really capitalize on going to the tournament because that's what's going to hinder him and his future successes in Corvallis. It's all going to be about recruiting and you can't recruit and get guys to go there but you gotta be persistent and capitalize when you have a season like that. You get to attorney get their home against Stanford tonight and towel and they're not gonna beat Stanford on Saturday so yes still winless in conference or in state Ford fourteen on the year own five in conference there are right down there at the bottom. Other pac twelve and and fresh off the heels of a really bad loss or an 8543. Was far before that they got blown out Seattle 8760 once thanks not so good so far from going to eagle but a roster banged up may be tundra next year more disappointing season the blazers of the beavers. Blue blazers blazers I had more expectations the blaze as the beavers I did another great idea you just be reserved and only be win listen I can't I didn't think looking at that I didn't think they would BJ John bad but I AIA yeah I'm more despondent and blazers that beavers us their best player in the and that's just that's the tough thing to replace yeah Chris directed by crunch fitness always 995 months so why would you ever pay more. For gym membership we deadlines to get to any final hour of the show we're gonna make our predictions for the NFC and AFC title game to do that. This are the final hour also don't look now look quite the staffing bill down in Berkeley we haven't discussed. That yet and that the bottom of the hour the Las Vegas raiders. Get used to it folks 'cause it could be happened and look fine art I'll go and order spray on tanning the fan.
